OPERATION CHRISTMAS  CHILD

We are happy to report that OCC 2022 was a great success, and First Baptist Church here in Dumas played a huge part in achieving that. Worldwide, there were 10,599,907 shoeboxes filled with over 9,000,000 being from the USA, and we here at FBC provided 1,903 of those. What an astounding outreach this ministry has to over 100 nations. Each shoebox serves as a gospel opportunity to the child receiving the box as well as to others. What a blessing it is to know that we were able to bring joy and Good News to so many through a simple shoebox. We will share the names of the areas receiving our FBC shoeboxes as soon as that information becomes available.
Now it is time to begin again. We are planning to have a monthly OCC workday. The first one will be Sunday afternoon, February 5th at 2:30 PM until..... Please join us.
Thank you again for your generous participation in this ministry. Many of you gave monthly donations to our OCC Fund and that allowed us to make bulk purchases throughout the year. We welcome you to do that again. Many of you used your time and talents making items to be used in filling the boxes. Please do not stop!
Please know that Operation Christmas Child is not about any one person promoting this ministry, but it is about using this unique way to "Speak Jesus" to a lost world. Surely the Lord will be returning sooner than we think. May we use the time we have remaining to share HOPE with those here at home as well as those far away.
OCC Drop-Off Center collected 2,325 from area churches, groups and individuals.
Merry Christmas all year long...
